Of these three treatments, teeth whitening is arguably the most popular treatment currently available. And this is for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is, it is a non-invasive way to brighten and whiten your smile. The treatment is also, thanks to in-office treatments such as Zoom! Tooth whitening, a fairly quick procedure. But for those who don’t want to spend a few hours getting their teeth whitened as much as 8 shades, there are also take home kits. These kits allow you to whiten your teeth in your own time, day or night. The next most popular is dental veneers. This minimally invasive treatment not only whitens your teeth but can conceal tiny chips and cracks. Dental veneers generally take two appointments, the first one is where the tooth is prepared, impressions are taken and temporaries are placed no your teeth until the more permanent ones are ready. Veneers are only used on the front 6 upper and lower teeth, what is known as the smile zone. The third treatment is more of a restorative treatment, but is sometimes used for cosmetic purposes.
